John F Kennedy Catholic School
At JFK we pride ourselves to bring the best out of our students and with our strong Catholic ethos we uphold a happy community that caters for every student. We provide a safe learning environment where students can accomplish great things and most importantly enjoy what is being taught, which links to our mission statement of inspire, achieve and serve.
The Digital Schoolhouse allows us to offer our computing expertise to primary school students to give them an insight into the computing curriculum. We hope to make the workshops informative and engaging where students can start to learn about the different topics that will be covered during key stage three, in particular algorithms, programming, networks, data representation, hardware and software. We hope to build the students confidence and to get them eager to learn more about computing, ready for when they transition into secondary school.
